Rose Marie Kelling, age 83 passed away peacefully on July 25, 2021 in her home surrounded by family members. Rose was a woman of many interests. She taught clogging for many years at the Corbin Senior Center where she made many life-long friendships. If Bluegrass music could be heard playing her feet would start clogging. She once gave a spontaneous clogging exhibition at the Spanish Steps in Rome while visiting Italy. Rose was extremely proud of her Italian heritage and was a member of the local chapter of the American-Italian Club. Rose cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her 'Gram' or 'Grandma Roses.' Rose loved every moment with them. Rose was hard-working, curious, smart, feisty, talented and opinionated and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was blessed with friendships dating back to kindergarten. No one ever expected to be invited for a home-cooked meal since she hated to cook! She will be missed by all who knew her and will remain dearly in our hearts. She is survived by: her sons, Scott (Michelle) Kelling of Spokane, Washington, and Patrick (Tammi) Kelling of Stevensville, Montana, and her sisters, Kathryn Felice of Spokane, Washington and Joanna Perry of Spokane, Washington. Rose also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren (soon to be 11) to cherish her loving memory. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Julia Felice, and her brother, Joseph Felice.
