Ruth E Dawson

Ruth Dawson, a favorite as an elementary school teacher in Spokane, Washington died peacefully in her own home at Rockwood Manor on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.  Her husband, Ted Dawson, a youthful football player in Spokane and employee of the Great Northern Railroad, predeceased her many years ago.  She is survived by her daughters Deedee Wigmore (President of D. Wigmore Fine Art in New York City) and Susan Dawson (Santa Rosa, California).  Ruth was active up until the last year of her life, shuttling between Spokane in the summer and Palm Desert with Susan in the winter.  She was always sociable, a good bridge player, interested in sports, and possessed of a keen critical mind.
