ViVienne Margaret Disciascio

October 8, 1927 ~ August 31, 2017 (age 89) 89 Years Old

ViVienne Disciascio our guardian angel went to heaven August 31, 2017. She was born in Oakland California October 8, 1927. ViVienne's pride and joy was her family. Mom was an Arizona snowbird for nine years and also enjoyed being a member of the Old Timers Railroad Club, ‘Narvre.’ Among her favorite things were traveling by car or cruising on the high seas. She loved spending time at the cabin on Newman Lake, shopping for hours on end and playing bunko. She was a volunteer at Stevens Elementary School, spent numerous hours working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and don't forget those mani-pedis with all the bling. Herbie “The Love Bug," her Maltese, was by her side for 12 years. She was an avid fan of Gonzaga basketball and was a faithful women's season ticket holder. She was the “Hippest” Granny around! She is survived by daughters Karen Plinski (Michael), Deena Glotfelty (Gregg), grandchildren Mike, DeAnna & Shasta, great grandchildren Jackson, Nicholas, Jacob, Brandon, Aubree & Riplee, great-great-grandchild Gianna and one on the way. Preceded in death by her husband Nick, son-in-law Mike and grandson Cody. A big thanks to her neighbor Judy for all her friendship, love and care over the years. We love our "Dust Bunny."
ViVienne's life will be celebrated with a rosary Friday, September 8th at 7pm at Hennessey Funeral Home 2203 N Division. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, September 9th at 9am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, followed by internment at Holy Cross Cemetery and a reception at Fairwinds Retirement Community, 520 E. Holland Ave. "One Sweet Day."
