Vicki Lynn Looney

    Vicki Lynn Looney passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, surrounding by members of her family.

    Vicki was born on October 10, 1951, in De Kalb, Texas, to parents, I.B. Mitchell and Mary Lou Murphee and was a retired radiology technologist for Inland Imaging in Spokane, Washington.

   After graduating from McAlester High School, in 1970, she completed her education in Lawton, Oklahoma, with certification in radiology technology. She was employed by Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma, and Inland Imaging in Spokane, Washington.

   Vicki is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert Marshall Looney, daughter, Gina Marie Linke, and son, Gilbert Marshall Looney. sisters, Beatrice Browning, Diana Monko, and Mary Montgomery, grandchildren, Taylor M. Linke, Dylan M. Linke, and Pixel Looney. She is proceeded in death by her parents, sister Georgia Carolyn Hand and brother Wallace Glenn Mitchell.

   People were drawn to Vicki and her irrepressible smile. She lit up any room as she walked into. She loved children, interacting with them every chance she got.

   The family would request that donations be made of UGM Anna Ogden Hall women and children’s shelter in Spokane.

    A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Hennessey Funeral Home & Crematory, 2203 N Division St, Spokane, Washington.
