Patricia Ann Ripple
Patricia passed away peacefully in the Spokane Valley on July 28, 2014 at the age of 88. “Patsy” was born to Paul and Rose on January 28, 1926 in Spokane, WA. She had five older brothers. She is preceded in death by her husband John J Ripple (Jack), son Michael and brothers John, Bud, Richard, and William. She is survived by brother Jim, her children John (Rebecca), Lexington, OR; Marsha, Portland, OR; Steven (Valerie), Santa Rosa, CA; Jane (Dale), Spokane, WA: Donna, Spokane, WA; and Gerald (Mary), Seattle, WA and nine Grandchildren. Patricia was born and raised in Spokane, graduated from Marycliff High School, and attended Holy Names College before marrying Jack. In addition to raising seven children she was devoted to Saint Mary’s School and Church, loved to play golf, cook, read, swim, travel, sew, and play the piano for charities and nursing homes. She enjoyed many get togethers with family and friends. She will be dearly missed and forever loved. Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary on Thursday August 7, 2014 at 7:00pm and Funeral Mass on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 304 S. Adams Rd, Spokane Valley, WA. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Evergreen Club, 2102 East Sprague Ave. Spokane, WA 99202.
