My condolences to you all. I like the photo you've chosen--it reminds me of earlier days when your mom was feeling well and vivacious. I was always aware that she was a very pretty woman. I remember her being at our place when I was a little kid and thinking she was very neat. Then when I lived in Spokane I had the good fortune of sometimes being invited to your home for dinner and getting to spend time with your mom and you, her kids. She and I also got together sometimes, just the two of us to talk. I will hold those memories as well as the more recent ones, and be glad to have been friends with her. She had/has a special place in my heart, and you, her family do, too. Love, Polly Druffel

Patsy worked for George & Hilda Druffel one summer on their farm in Colton
when we were kids growing up. We had a wood burning range and oven in our
kitchen. It was a hot summer day when she was making her first 2 layer cake.
It took her a while, but Mom sucdceed in keeping the oven at 350 degrees until
the cake was ready to put in and until it was baked.
We all loved Patsy and enjoyed having her with us that summer.
Our dad, George. also ernjoyed Marsha, Patsy's daughter,
helping him in the summer time.
When we were kids we usually wore our bib overalls on the farm but did
not like to be seen in town with them on. When Marsha (part of a younger
generation came), new bib overalls were part of stylish attire.
We are praying for all of you.
