I do believe Janet was instrumental in hatching the solution to our talking too much in PE. I know Father Ryan was stifling a laugh as her released us from detention and told us to take our tape home and leave it there. Janet and Fr. Ryan are probably sharing a laugh over that escapade!

Jan you were always such a kind hearted, funny, so welcoming to everyone that came around!! Always there with open arms! I always admired you, that you worked so hard, yet you knew how to kick back and have a good time!! I'm thankful for all the wonderful times I got to spend with you and the family, and you will be ever so dearly missed!! May you rest in peace, as you will never be forgotten!

I probably have not seen Janet since high school back in the 60s. We were all pretty close since it was a small high school and so I wanted to share my condolences to the family. Janet was in my brothers class but I always thought of her as being fun, smart, happy and caring. I didn't surprise me when I heard that she had gone into nursing. I saw that same spirit when I watched the video about her life! My prayers and thoughts are with her family . I know she will be missed at their 50th class reunion in September

I remember Jan as a volunteer in the Friends of Miryam's House. She was a creative fund raiser and generous member!

During my last surgery at Sacred Heart - Jan was my OR recovery nurse. This was in October 2015. When I came to (sort of) - Jan asked if there was anything I needed - to which I replied - a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich sounds good right about now. We both laughed.

The next day Jan stopped by my room and had a plastic pumpkin full of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and stated - I brought the peanut butter - you'll have to work on the jelly yourself.

She was so thoughtful and caring - and it meant a lot to me then as it does today.

My condolences to John and the family as they miss someone who was truly full-of-life, and made a difference in this world.

Jan was our leader - we would follow her anywhere and laugh all the way! Her heart was huge and she had great compassion for the less fortunate. It was a privilege to know her and share so many fun times with her. Jan lives a huge void in many people's lives, she is one who will never be forgotten💔

I was fortunate to meet Jan during the time my son attended All Saints. She made us both feel so welcomed. Whenever we would see each other out and about there was always that smile and kind of bond we made from those years. I know she will be missed.

I was fortunate to know Jan through my mother Sue. Her lasting impression on me is her one of a kind sense of humor and her uniqueness. I will always be grateful to Jan for the great friend she was to my mom and I know many others. My mom said she was the glue that kept everyone together and always the most fun person to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with you John and Annie. - Kara Davidson

John and Annie:
I learned of "Griff's" death and am sending love and prayers from Boise. The memories of nurses training and our visits in Spokane are wonderful.
Annie, I saw your note about photos. I had to laugh because some of the ones I have would have to be censored.
I loved Griff. We all did.
Again you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Martha "Pete"
