John “Jack” Richard Kippen passed away June 25, 2017 in Spokane, WA. He was born on August 24, 1938 in Helena, MT. to Neil & Margaret Kippen.  Jack is survived by his sisters Jeri Chalich and Joyce Jacobs and his brother James.  After going to school in Spokane, Jack joined the Navy and served in Japan.  He worked for and retired from Boeing.  Jack raised his son John along with three children; Yvette Johns, Cindy Harvey and Carl Griffith.  He loved crossword puzzles, his dogs and his greatest joy was riding his Goldwing, touring over 200,000 in Washington.  Jack will be missed by Ron and Dick, his old Navy buddies, as well as by his entire family.  He was a longtime patron of Annie’s Hillside Inn, with Annie being his joy and his curse, according to both of them.  A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July1st at 3pm at the Hillside Inn, 3001 N Nevada.
