Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Camp family. What wonderful memories were made while working with the Camp family! With the many years of working with Phil at the helm we always knew we were headed in the right direction. Hold your family close and cherish the memories!

My heart goes out to the Camp Family-I had the privilege of working with the "Camp" family early 70's to early 80's at Camp Chevrolet--Jerry Sr. and the "boys" always treated everybody with great respect no matter where they worked in the dealership
Phil and I butted heads from time to time, but we always respected each other
Scout, I lost a friend on earth, but not in my mind-I will miss you and will remember all the good times we had-God bless the Camp family at this trying time-just remember the good life we had with Phil

We are so sorry to hear of Scout's passing.
While it's been a number of years, he was always such a gentleman, so welcoming and friendly.
I'm sure Scout and Dad are now walking a fence line hunting that elusive pheasant...
Out thoughts and prayers are with you all!

I am so sorry for your family's loss. I worked for Camp Chevrolet out of high school in the early 80's. I remember Phil as a very proud and professional man, yet very kind who always had a welcoming smile. I know he will be greatly missed.

To the entire Camp Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Phil. Growing up my dad (Gary McLaughlin) would always talk about his friend "Scout". I am sure they are up in heaven catching up and reliving the past. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Shawna

My heart goes out to the Camp family. I met Phil on the volleyball court at the Spokane Club where a group of us played volleyball together for years. Phil was such a good athlete and by the far the most competitive person I know! Whether we competed in volleyball, racquetball or golf, somehow he managed to always come out on top...even if it took mind games for him to do so! :) I absolutely adored Phil and was shocked to learn such a vibrant, life-loving man had passed before his time. He told me multiple times how blessed he was to be so healthy and fortunate. He certainly didn't take his health and circumstances for granted! He was an amazing man and will be missed by many. God bless you all!

Philip, you will be greatly missed! When I joined the Camp family in 1988, you were especially welcoming to me. You and my older brother Gordy had spent some school years together, and you always asked about him. I learned to love YOU like an older brother as well. I totally respected you as the Camp director and missed working for you when Lithia Motors bought us out. RIP, Philip.......I'll come say Hello to you and your folks in Lacrosse.

I was reacquainted with Phil when I happened to hear him talk about how he was from Spokane while we were both in Hawaii. He was a good friend of my father, My dad always made sure he bought a car from Phil on a regular basis! I admired his love for life and his passion and energy for getting moving! We will miss seeing his great smile and hearing his laughter. All my best to your family.

We loved our many years of friendship and shared adventures with Phil, and later with Judy. John has always counted Phil as a life time GOOD friend. I felt the same way, also!!! It has been so fun watching Travis and our Christopher growing up into manhood together. We loved all the shared times on the water and off. We loved the dinners and laughter together. It has been fun staying in touch all these years even though we had left Spokane long ago. You have no idea, Phil, how much we will miss you and what a great privilege it was for us to say our last goodbye to you thanks to the thoughtfulness of Christopher making it happen. Prayers to the family!!!!!

Phil will be greatly missed by many. He defiantly was one of a kind. A man with a good heart. It didn't matter where I ran into him, he always greeted me with that big smile of his and a hug. I remember playing golf with him at Playa del Carman, it was a great time! He was always losing his balls, until we figured out, the little amigos were taking them every time he hit it off the fairway, we laughed so hard when they were trying to sell them back. Love and prayers to the family

I was very sad to hear Phil had passed. I worked for the Camp Family for over 30 years. I will always remember him as a good person and a good owner to work for. He was always fair with me and anyone who worked for him. Going on the Camp Crusies with him were a high light of my career with Camp Chevrolete! Very thankful for everything, love and prayers to the family.

He loved the beets, cucumbers and beans that i would bring to him out of my garden. Even when i changed jobs he came to my work and we would go and have lunch every so often to catch up, . I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Phil Camp. He was very good to me and my family throughout the years. He of course would coach some local basketball teams with his oldest Travis and myself on them, and would also be generous with his time and even provided me with a summer job before heading off to college. I have not seen him in many years but I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Camp family.
