The Sigma Chi fraternity was fortunate to have Skip as a much admired and loved member. As a fraternity brother and friend my life was certainly enriched knowing him. He was gracious with a warm ready smile and possessed many attributes and talents to try to emulate. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out the family and friends.

Jeanette and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. When Fred received word of Skip's passing from his Beta Tho brothers, I asked Tom Overturf if I could ask your Chi OmEga sisters to send you their love an sympathy. Tom felt you would be most grateful. I sent a group email to your Sigma Beta sisters who one Lol and so know and love you to send cards or emails. Boy, am I proud of thm...They really came through. I asked Deanna to live you hugs from high Turners next Monday, and we're also sending a card. Do you mind if we send a memorial to Montana State? More soon. My aloha Judi loa, Jan T

We became friends of Skip and Jeanette’s at Montana State University in the late 1950’s. We had wonderful times with them when we both lived in Southern California. We always admired Skip’s creative talents, his sense of humor and his devotion to Jeanette, Bob, Wes and Clay. He truly was an outstanding individual and we won’t forget you, good friend. We feel privileged to have been friends for so many years.

If you were to look in the dictionary under the word gracious, I think you could easily find a picture of Skip as a great example of this word.
