Daniel Eugene Forsyth was born July 4, 1946 in Spokane, WA to Aubrey and Laura Forsyth. He lived all but 7 years in the Colbert area where he passed away at his home on May 14, 2017. He attended Mead schools and graduated from Gonzaga Prep. Dan began printing at an early age, working with his uncle, Ira L. Fuson, owner and operator of Franklin Press on Howard Street in Spokane. He then worked for Kershaws and eventually owned his own business, D'n R Printing. Dan enjoyed many things including: snow skiing (getting his mother to participate with him when she was in her 50's), spending time on the property on the Pend Oreille River and boating. Dan loved gardening, laughing and seeking out knowledge about everything. He and friend Patty Chase enjoyed reading Danielle Steele novels together. He enjoyed going to movies, eating out and visiting with friends. He was a creature of habit, eating breakfast every day at McDonald's with different friends since 1976. Dan attended St. Aloysius Church with very good friend Susan Lawrence. Dan was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.He is survived by his ex-wife and friend Pam Forsyth, Spokane, WA; one brother Mike (Gloria) Forsyth, Springdale, WA; one sister Sallie (Ron) Uhden, Addy, WA; one step-daughter Judy Johnson, Augusta, Georgia; three step grandchildren; three nephews and two nieces; very close friends Jeff and Kelly McElroy and boys.Services will be at Hennessey Funeral Home 2203 N. Division St. Spokane, WA Monday, June 5, 2017 11:00 a.m. The burial will follow at 1:00 at Holy Cross Cemetery.
