Don was born Dec. 19, 1932 in Spokane and passed peacefully July 19, 2017.  He graduated from Gonzaga Prep and attended Gonzaga University.  He made his home in Spokane and lived in the same house for 58 years. Together with his wife Jackie they raised 5 children.

His family and his home were his pride & joy.  All of the family gatherings were at “Dad’s” house, the annual BBQ with homemade peach ice cream where everyone had to turn the crank, Thanksgiving dinner, our annual Christmas party and any other holiday.

He worked for Carnation (now Broadview Dairy) for 33 years.  After retirement he enjoyed working in his gardens, he had a true “green thumb” with roses, playing golf with friends and family and he did some travelling.  He was a wonderful father and a great friend, always offering encouragement and a helping hand. His door was always open to stop by and have a cold beer and a visit.  He is truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jackie and sons John and Max and son-in-law Stan Langton.

He is survived by son Dan Heller (Vicki), daughters Jeanette Langton and Cathy Weber (Gary), 7 grandkids and 5 great- grandkids.

At Don’s request there will not be a funeral service. A private graveside service will be held.
