Yvonne Celeste Argyle passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017 with her loved ones by her side. Yvonne was born on October 7, 1938 in Yakima Washington to Tony and Alberta Debing. They soon moved to Spokane where she attended school at Sacred Heart and Marrycliff High School. After high school she attended college at Eastern Washington and married Ralph “Bud” Brown. They moved to Portland where she started her family and began an extensive career in the dental field. Yvonne touched the lives of many close friends and extended family members. She treasured all of these relationships. Her kindness and sense of humor could always bring a smile to their faces. Yvonne loved to spend time with friends watching Gonzaga basketball and Mariners baseball. She was able to visit family in Seattle and attend many Mariner games over the years. She also became a big fan of Seahawk and Husky football, much to the dismay of her Cougar neighbors. One of her favorite things to do was spending time with her granddaughter Maddy, her pride and joy. They enjoyed arts and crafts, swimming in her pool or just snuggling in her recliner along with her cat Mindy. Yvonne was extremely creative and talented. Her family and friends always looked forward to receiving Yvonne’s handmade, personalized holiday and birthday cards. She also enjoyed knitting or crocheting handmade gifts for her family and friends. Yvonne is survived by her sons Todd (Kari) Brown, Brian Snyder, granddaughter Maddy Brown, brother Anthony (Barbara) Debing, sisters Vivian (Robert) Cobb, Therese Debing (Gary Goetz), numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Yvonne’s life will be held at a later date.
